Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently on a visit to the Caribbean country Guyana, where on Thursday he was honored with the country’s highest honour by Guyana and Dominica. On his foreign tour, PM Modi addressed the Parliament of Guyana. This is the first time in 56 years that an Indian Prime Minister is on a visit to a Caribbean country. In the Parliament of Guyana, PM Modi also spoke a lot about the war in Europe and the Middle East. Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi on Thursday called for universal cooperation and said that this is not the time for conflict.
India always talks on the basis of trust, transparency and principles. Prime Minister Modi’s goal is the proper development of the entire world. If even a single region or a single country of the world lags behind in development, our global goal will never be achieved. Every country of the world is important for Prime Minister Modi. India accepts island countries not as small but as big maritime countries. Keeping these feelings in mind, India created ocean platforms for those islands related to the Indian Ocean. We have also prepared a special format to connect the countries of the Pacific Ocean. With this noble intention, India fulfilled its duty by getting the African Union included in the G-20 during its presidency of the G-20. Said he.
He further said that Today India stands in favour of global development and peace in every way. This is the reason why today India has become the voice of the Global South. India believes that in the past the Global South has had to grapple with various problems. In the past we have tried to progress by protecting nature according to our nature and culture. But many countries have developed by harming the environment. Today the countries of the Global South are paying the biggest price of climate change. It is very important for the world to come out of this imbalance. Whether it is India or Guyana, we also have aspirations of development. We have dreams of giving a better life to our people. For this the Global South needs to be united. This is the time for the countries of the Global South to wake up. This time is giving us an opportunity to come together and create a new global order. And at this time the role of all the public representatives of Guyana is also being seen to be very important.
